What Makes This Retreat Unique

Book both cabins and take the whole cove. Two separate cabins mean two kitchens, two hot tubs, and real privacy — each couple or family gets their own space, then everyone gathers at the firepit, the bar, or down at the water. The Douglas Lake cabin experience you can't get in a single crowded rental.

Matching Cabins, Same Experience

Bears Den and Deer Crossing are nearly identical inside — same cabin layout, same finishes, and the same amenities in each: full kitchen, living area, full bath, and a private hot tub. Nobody gets the lesser cabin. The only difference is the bedrooms (see below).

About 20 minutes to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park hiking trails, waterfalls, ziplines, and wineries.

Private boat ramp access on Douglas Lake for guests, just a short walk down the street — bring your own boat and launch from the shared ramp. Ramp key provided at check-in. Douglas Lake is a Bill Dance Signature Lake and MLF Pro Circuit fishing destination — world-class bass fishing minutes from your cabins.

Like all TVA-managed lakes, Douglas Lake follows a natural seasonal cycle — levels are fullest and most beautiful spring through fall (March–October), and gradually draw down to a calmer, more exposed shoreline in winter. When the lake is up, the water's a short walk down the street.

We share this gear across our properties, so availability isn't guaranteed — message us as soon as you book to reserve yours before another guest claims them. Self check-in.
