The main level features an open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings, a stone gas fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen and dining space - perfect for gathering after a day in the mountains. A private queen bedroom and full bath are also located on this level.

Step outside onto the private deck to enjoy the hot tub and peaceful mountain surroundings.

Upstairs, the loft offers a king sleeping space, full bath, and a dedicated movie nook perfect for streaming blockbusters or enjoying game nights after a day of exploring the Great Smoky Mountains.

Please note: THIS IS BEAR COUNTRY. Who knows, you might get lucky and see a bear...or several. Keep a respectful distance, and you should be good. 👍 Even better, please take a few minutes to educate yourself on bear etiquette and safety before your arrival. You don't want to make things awkward or uncomfortable for our Smoky Mountain natives, right? Here's a little crash course in bear etiquette (from Bear Wise .org):

Intentionally feeding bears or allowing them to find anything that smells or tastes like food teaches bears to approach homes and people looking for more. Bears will defend themselves if a person gets too close, so don’t risk your safety and theirs!

▪️Secure Food, Garbage And Recycling▪️
Food and food odors attract bears, so don’t reward them with easily available food, liquids or garbage. Make sure your car and the cabin are locked. Yes, bears know how to use door handles.

Most attractions are a 15–25-minute drive. The Pigeon Forge Trolley 🚋 is a fun, low-cost option for Dollywood, Old Mill, and The Island (seasonal schedules).

By booking Dancing Embers, you acknowledge our standard house rules and agree to sign our short rental agreement after booking (sent via Airbnb message). This agreement simply restates the rules below and helps ensure a smooth stay.

✔️ Guest Requirements: Primary guest must be 21+ and staying for the full reservation. Only registered guests may stay overnight. Maximum occupancy must be followed. No parties, events, or commercial use.
✔️ Safety & Property Care: No smoking or vaping inside the home. No pets. Do not tamper with Wi-Fi equipment, hot tub systems, or security cameras (exterior only, facing the driveway). Follow posted hot tub and fireplace safety instructions. This is a mountain property—wildlife may be present. Please secure trash in bear-safe bins.
✔️ Hot Tub & Fireplace: Use at your own risk; no glass in or around the hot tub.
✔️ Septic System: Toilet paper only—no wipes, diapers, or feminine products.
✔️ Check-out: Follow the posted check-out steps so the home is ready for the next guest.
✔️ Cancellations & Payments: All payments, refunds, and cancellations follow Airbnb’s policies. Airbnb is the merchant of record for all guest funds.

If you're a fan of the cuteness that ladybugs bring, get ready to meet our Asian lady beetles! These little critters are pretty common around here, and during fall and winter they seem to have a magnetic attraction to the cozy indoors. While we're actively on the bug-busting job, these lady beetles, along with their buddies, the kudzu bugs and box elder bugs, might still make an appearance. Rest assured, we do everything we can to keep these surprise guests to a minimum—after all, you’re our favorite guests! Thanks for embracing the mountain experience with us.
