At roughly 4,800 square feet with six bedrooms, a house this full never feels crowded.

Whatever the sky is doing outside, the private indoor pool keeps the fun going — a rare touch that turns a rainy afternoon or a chilly December visit into pool time anyway. The open floor plan pulls everyone together around a big, fully equipped kitchen dressed in blue cabinetry, an island with barstool seating for the inevitable crowd, and a dining table framed by tall windows that hand you a mountain view with every meal.

When the group splinters into smaller camps, there's room for that too. The game room becomes the tournament venue for arcade games, air hockey, and basketball, while the expansive decks — with outdoor seating, a grill, and a hammock — give the quieter folks somewhere to catch the light coming down over the ridgeline. • The roads up to the home's location are winding and narrow, with possible hazards due to construction debris. Approach with caution.
• There are stairs needed to take to get up to the front entrance.
• Pool heating is available for an additional $100/night fee plus tax and must be charged for the entire duration of the stay.

• The road to get to the home is pretty rough; it is located very high up the mountain with lots of curves and hills.
