M A I N F L O O R / U P P E R L E V E L:

Upon entering, you'll discover a bright and spacious open-concept living room with tall vaulted ceilings.

You'll be greeted by colorful, rustic-modern decor in the living room. Relax in the luxurious Napa leather sofa or plush sofa (queen sleeper) and accent chairs.

To your right, you'll notice a large well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and new quality heavy-gauge stainless steel cookware, among other new items needed for entertaining.

Steps away, you'll notice a stocked coffee bar, perfect for a morning pick-me-up before you head out for day of hiking or sightseeing, or a warm beverage to enjoy from the balcony during sunset.

Under a modern lodge-style chandelier, you'll find a picturesque gathering place for delicious meals with family and friends, with seating for 6 at the table, and seating for 3 at the bar.

The first of two private balconies offers large, blue oversized modern rocking chairs, the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh mountain air of and a spectacular view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Guests will enjoy easy access to a private bathroom on the main/upper level separate from sleeping quarters on the level below.

L O W E R L E V E L:

Downstairs you'll discover sleeping quarters for your group: 1) Cozy master bedroom suite with King Bed and en suite bathroom with Whirlpool Tub 2) Bunk room with games.

Bunk Room - Lower Level
Adjacent to the Master Bedroom Suite, you'll discover the bunkroom and vintage arcade machine. Previously an open den, the bunkroom includes one full bed over two twin bed bunk bed, a 60 game vintage arcade, 43 inch TV and a chest full of family games.

Master Bedroom - Lower Level
Enjoy stunning views through the large picture windows from your king-sized, authentic log frame bed. Relax in your private en suite bathroom with whirlpool tub or catch up on your favorite series on the new Roku TV. Please keep in mind that furnishings and mattresses are brand new and may initially be firm.

Balcony - Lower Level
From the 2nd level deck, relax into a new 4 person EcoSpa hot tub, warmed and ready for your enjoyment. Catch that game on the outdoor Roku TV while surrounded by incredible views of the Smoky Mountains.

★ Aside from ensuring the entire cabin is sanitized for your stay, our cleaning team drains and sanitizes the hot tub prior to the arrival of each new guest to assure safety and hygiene.

You will find two (2) private bathrooms, one on each level, stocked with a starter kit of shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. (If you have strong preferences, we suggest bringing your preferred soaps)

A starter pack including toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing soap and laundry soap is provided. Additional supplies are available a short distance away at local stores.

As a year-round destination with mountain view cabins especially in high demand, we encourage guests to book and reserve dates sooner than later.

Please note: our cleaning staff reserves the master bedroom closet for supplies.

In this beautiful region of East Tennessee, it’s not uncommon to see black bears, deer, and other local wildlife. For your safety—and the well-being of our native animals—we kindly ask that all food be kept out of vehicles and any discarded items securely placed in the designated bear-proof bins. Please also remember to ensure car doors locked during your visit.

Also in this natural mountain setting, small wildlife like carpenter bees, millipedes, or ladybugs may be seen on occasion, depending on the time of year. We have professionals contracted to keep these sightings to a minimum, but know that critters/wildlife are as much a part of the area as the mountains. Thank you for your understanding.

*Trip Insurance & Safety
We encourage all guests to purchase trip insurance in case of cancellation or emergency. Please note that refunds cannot be provided due to inclement weather, natural disasters, or events outside of our control.

*For the safety of both guests and the cabin, a security camera is installed at the front of the property.

Additional Details & House Guidelines

★ Sleeping Arrangements: Honeycomb Retreat comfortably sleeps 7. (Due to weight restrictions, please children only on top bunk/in loft).

★ Accessibility: While we welcome all guests, the cabin may not be ideal for families with very young children (under 3) or guests with mobility challenges due to stairs at the front entry and an open stairwell leading to the lower level (master suite and bunkroom/arcade).

★ Pet Policy: Honeycomb Retreat is pet-friendly! Must be crated if left unattended. Additional fees may apply the event of damage or excessive cleaning. Undisclosed pets will result in $400 fee.

★ We do not allow smoking in the cabin or on cabin balconies. If evidence of smoking is found, a $400 cleaning fee may be incurred for deep cleaning.

★ Please no parties or gatherings of more than the max occupancy of the cabin, 9 persons (including adults and children), at any time.

★ We require children under the age of 10 to be supervised by an adult at all times while accessing the balconies or hot tub.
