The Lily Pad, a 30A beach getaway

The house is located in a secluded area off Scenic Highway 30A, about 1/2 mile from the Beach access at Stallworth lake. We are at one of the most pristine beaches in the area, adjacent to the Topsail State Preserve, with many hiking and biking trails, wildlife viewing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle-boarding options. This location has easy access to all the shopping and amenities of highway 98, yet close enough to bike to the action at Watercolor, Seaside and Grayton Beach.

The space

The space is perfect for adults. The queen size bed has a high quality firm mattress. A nice bathroom with a great shower, and a sofa. There are No cooking facilities in the unit, but there is a Keurig coffee maker, a small fridge, a toaster and a microwave, to fix or heat a little bite. Guest have use of beach chairs and umbrella as well as two chairs and small table for sitting by the pond. The space is not suitable for toddlers or small children. The space is NOT Baby Proofed.

Guest access

Guests access the guesthouse by walking through the corridor between the main house and the garage and up the stairs in the back. Specific instructions on retrieving the key will be sent at check in time. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor shower when returning from beach.

Other things to note

This is a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature. I view this place as a sanctuary. Play hard and make noise when you are out and about and come here to rest and renew. The beach is less than half a mile away and is accessible through two beach access points one by Stinky’s restaurant the other by stallworth lake. We are close to Topsail State park with it’s amazing trails and pristine beach.
