Touch of Madagascar-Whole House

Free off-street parking. Entire house with pool (heating pool is no longer available). 3 mn walk to Shopping/restaurants. 15mn drive to Destin. 7 minute drive to beach. Decorated with original art from Madagascar, where the owner Yolande is from, and where Yolande's husband Clint worked for 24 years. Clint is a native of Ft Walton Beach and a Vietnam Combat Veteran. No pets allowed (even visitors' pets). NO CAMERAS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ANYWHERE INSIDE THE HOUSE.

The space

Uptown Station Shopping Center (grocery, restaurants, merchandise) is 100 yards west, and Ferry Park (walking/jogging track, tennis, basketball, playground, athletics) is 100 yards east. Easy access to main thoroughfares.

Guest access

Entire house with private pool with fenced-in backyard. It is your house while you rent it. Please make sure to indicate the correct number of guests before you book. This will avoid issues with Airbnb later.

Other things to note

The best seafood restaurant in the are is Dewey's on the Bay in Destin. Clint's family moved to Ft Walton in 1963 (Clint was 10). In those days, Destin had 3 restaurants and 1 hotel. Dewey's gives you an idea of what Destin was like in the past. Great seafood on tables over the water. Watch the sunset from the dock.
