Waterfront Gem with Dock on 30A | Kayak to Beach!

Camp Creek Casita is a roomy, newly renovated (in 2024) lakefront beach home on 30A. This dune lake property is the perfect place to set off on your beach adventure or simply unwind.

The space

This light-filled and cheery “casita” overlooks Camp Creek Lake at mile marker 15 along Florida’s scenic Highway 30A. Nestled on a quiet street between Watersound and Alys Beach, this unique lakefront property offers guests fast access to pristine, white-sand beaches, as well as a slew of amenities. Jump in one of our kayaks and paddle from the lake to the beach in just 15 minutes, take a quick 4-minute bike ride to the public beach access less than half a mile away or drive two minutes to public access with parking at Deer Lake State Park. No matter how you choose to get there, we have all the gear you need to enjoy a relaxing day lounging on the beach, including chairs, a beach tote, a cooler, a beach wagon, and an umbrella. From the casita, you can also step out the front door and explore dozens of miles of trails in the neighboring state park system or step onto the Timpoochee Trail to run, bike, or walk to destinations in Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, or Seaside. If fishing is your thing, you can cast a line from our community dock or try your hand at surf fishing!

While Camp Creek Casita has all the adventures of summer camp, you’ll find the accommodations far more inviting and luxurious. Our spacious, sunny loft is recently renovated and features stainless steel appliances, a fabulous walk-in shower, and designer decor with a modern beach vibe. The property is roomy enough to sleep up to four adults – making it an ideal place for a romantic getaway or a beach trip with family or close friends. Enjoy lake views as you meal prep in the fully-stocked kitchen, cozy up with a beach read in the window nook, or unwind with happy hour under string lights on the back deck. After a long day lazing in the sun, you can snuggle up in premium linens on an ultra-comfortable Leesa mattress with Nest's top-of-the-line luxury pillows. We’ve tried to think of everything you might need for a wonderful stay on 30A!

Things to Know

• Our unit is in a small complex, and we are friends with our neighbors. We share the dock and other parts of the property and ask that guests remember to treat the complex and our neighbors with respect.
• While we do have some amenities geared towards little ones, note our property is not entirely “baby-proofed.” You are responsible for ensuring your child’s safety, especially around the water.
• We have a zero-tolerance smoking and pet policy.
• We do NOT have a grill and are unfortunately not able to allow grilling on the back deck.
• CONSTRUCTION started on the lot next door to us in April of 2020 (yes, it's been going on that long). You can read our previous reviews that date all the way back to April 2020 and it has not been an issue for any of our prior guests. But, please do note that with a construction project next door, we can't control the possibility of construction-related noise throughout the day.

Guest access

Entire space plus community dock is included in this rental. You are free to use our four kayaks and two bikes (please see Hostfully house manual for instructions). Please, make yourself at home while you're here, but keep in mind we share part of the property with our neighbors.!

Other things to note

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel :) Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
